Along with the seven participating universities in InKAS Korean language scholarship program for Korean adoptees, InKAS will now offer a scholarship for an additional school, Sangmyung University. Sangmyung University is located in the northeastern area of Seoul, a 5 minute walk from Hyehwa Station on Line 4.
The Korean language course for fall semester will run from September 23rd to November 29th and recipients will receive 50% coverage of tuition. Classes will run from 9am-1pm, Monday through Friday. For information on Sangmyung’s Korean language program please visit their website.
Recipients of the Sangmyung University Korean language scholarship will have the opportunity to receive 1:1 private Korean tutoring with Korean native students who are studying at Sangmyung to receive certification in Korean language teaching. The university is located in Daehangno, a cultural district representing modern art, with various theaters showing plays, musicals, concerts and movies.
