A great opportunity to experience Korean and East Asian culture within a global context!
Summer@UIC provides high school students an exclusive and exciting opportunity to fully experience all that the Residential College at Yonsei University has to offer. Held at our new Yonsei International Campus located in Songdo, near the Incheon International Airport, participants will get a chance to take classes on Korean language, history and culture, while traveling to some of the most popular destinations in Korea.
At the heart of the program are intensive Korean language classes that are held every morning from Monday to Friday. Afternoons are filled with activities and special lectures and discussions on Korean history, literature, society and culture conducted by Underwood International College professors. Weekly fieldtrips and excursions will allow students to experience first-hand the dynamism of Korean society today.
With UIC’s enriching living environment, intimate liberal arts college setting, and world-class standards of academic excellence as the foundation, our program provides a rigorous academic curriculum supplemented with cultural activities that fosters intellectual curiosity and promotes communal learning.
Are you in high school, or do you know anyone who might be interested in participating? By mentioning “IKAA,” you will receive a 10% discount on the program/tuition fees.
